Oil cooler en oil lines

Hey,

Originally I have an oil cooler with connections for a "heated carb". But now I bougth an Fcr41 and want to change the oil cooler lines.

The Fcr 41 is not heated so I do not need the extra connection from my cooler.
Can I just put a bolt with washer in the extra hole and then by the lines for a non heated carb version?
Or do I need to by a new cooler?

Below a picture of the cooler with the original lines and carb.  M900 95

Your picture doesn't show enough of the line routing for me to tell much.

If you plug the extra holes, why do you need different main lines?

Line 1: oil cooler to engine
Line 2: oil cooler to carb (= heated carb)
line 3: engine to oil cooler

I installed a new carb a Keihin FCR 41 and i dont need line 2 anymore.
I also want to by  me some new fancy oil lines.

So my question is can I just by a kit for an non heated carb version (= line 1+line 3) and put a screw in the hole for line 2
or do I need to by me a new cooler with only two holes??

think you could get screw, washer and plug hole 2 . . .make sure no other holes for oil remain open

Yes, you can buy a standard version line kit, and use a bolt with the proper thread and some sort of sealing/crush washer.

The fitting for the carb oil line looks like a banjo fitting, so it might be a 10mm similar to a brake line banjo bolt.

Make sure you use a wrench on the cooler block when removing and installing all lines to avoid cracking it. The coolers are somewhat fragile in that respect.
