hello, the bike is 2012 Monster 1100evo . 1400miles on it . . .
from day one i noticed a little leak from the adjustment screw on the rear end of the forks .. (only on one side) it looks to me that it only happens when the temperature is very high in the garage.
today i tightened this screw and the middle one (rebount) on both sides all the way .. ill check again in couple of days...
any ideas? anyone with the same problem ? here is a pic of what im talking abt ..

2012, 1400 miles... take it to the dealer.

Howie

That is your rebound damping adjustment.  Put the screw back where it was, then

so there's no way for the oil to come out from the rebound damping screw?

Sure there is, but the cure is not tightening the screw.  The screw is an adjustment.  There are two O rings in that adjustment assembly.  They will probably replace either the O ring that could cause the leak or the whole assembly.  The leak is a warrant issue.

keep an eye on it, if you get the weeping again, take a photo, don't touch anything and get the dealer to admit there's a leak and fix it.
a fork rebuild isn't hard

I used Ducati Triumph NYC .. they kept the bike for 4 days and called me to tell me im a ``lunatic`` and there's no leak there... give me a break break !! why would i bring it there if there was no leak?!?!?!?  ??? when i got there they told me it was just grease when they assembled the bike .. so they cleaned it and its good now... im like yeah sure w.e ... they also said to take pics and email them to us.... so a week later i took pics and sent it to them .... no answer.. called them the 1st time ... they said they will call me .... 2 days later nothing .. called them again ... oh yeah we saw your pics and we will email you later on the day abt it ... im like okk sure .. 2 days later .. nothing ... called them again ... this time the ``master `` mechanic was out .. she said they will call me the next day... if not i should give them a call ... they never called .. so i called again .. this time they were gona call me by the end of the day to let me know ... im still waiting ..........
from what i heard from ppl that own ducatis & triumphs , those guys are just sweet talkers till they sell you the bike... after that .. look  else where for service especially warranty work ..
don't get fooled by the 5 stars reviews they got ... i think they write their own reviews ..  its a shame :(

Yes, call DNA and tell them of your situation. AND especially your experience with their communication/service.

DNA has pulled dealerships before
