So just an update to anyone who cares. Had the throttle bodies synced, air filter replaced, and a kink in the gas lines fixed. Bike runs perfect until you get over 8k rpms. Apparently the tech suggests resetting the cpu. YAY more stuff I cannot do on my own.

Glad to know that bike is running, perfect . . . How often do you visit those hi RPMs?  Can you describe the issue above 8K? Please.

I usually don't visit that hi and when I do, I do for audible pleasure . . . As said before, I own a 2005 M620 . . .

Re-flashing the ECU has advantages and disadvantages; if you flash your ECU, you might loose the "Comm" pin and it will become "un-diagnostic-able" since most scanners wont be able to correctly read the ECU's data; unless, you got either a Rexxer diagnostic/tuning hardware, that will "flash" your ECU according to your specs or the Microtech ECU with diagnostic software that also, will be delivered according to your specs or in other words, with what you have on your bike . . . Costs for these two options are between $600~$1000 . . . A Ducati Performance ECU is around $600.00 and can be read by most diagnostic equipment on the market.

You can perform  your own maintenance and basic adjustments if you purchase a tool for that purpose, you can visit our sponsors and they will most certainly have something for you to use as an individual . . .

I am no expert and know many techs or more Ducati savvy guys at least read the posts, so, someone might come up with a better answer than mine.
