You are probably wondering why I'm posting Valentine's Day stuff in Accessories & Mods....
WELL!
I have a SWEET deal with my girlfriend (of 5 yrs). (we met in italy when we were kids).
Whatever she decides that I $pend on her for Valentine's Day (jewelry), she has to $pend that much on me.
What I want for Valentine's Day: a better seat.
Option 1: Take my current seat to a local upholstery shop that does some motorcycle seat work and have them add and shave some foam, (custom to my rear end) and be happy.
Option 2: Buy the Touring Seat online for $275... or however much it cost... you guys got a deal anywhere or want to sell my yours? (for the 09 696).
Option 3: a fender telecaster hecho en mexico.

What do you guys (and gals) think?

Put rhinestones on the tele and buy it for her. Then have her buy you a new seat. Double win.

that is a good idea... I could even just TELL her that they are real diamonds....except once she forgets about the guitar... I'll just peel off the rhinestones.

^ Classic move aka the "Homer" bowling ball.  My vote was for the Tele... until I read this.

In case you were wondering...
I picked option 1
Sargeant Seats here in Jacksonville Fl is going to build me a custom seat. They have an awesome reputation of course. I picked out the upholstery and red double stitching  Evil... more details to follow.

Ok so after all of this Sargeant hit a snag and wasnt able to help. I still give them props for being the best. They were a big help, friendly, knowledgeable,  and profesional. I still recommend them.
