As we all know the competition werks tail eliminator kit is pretty shitty quality.  So im in the process of trying to improve it.  Ive looked into welding the corners shut but its so thin im afraid i would melt a hole in it.  Ive also thought of using bondo or an epoxy of some sort to fill the corners but im sure it would fall out due to vibrations.  Of course after its patched correctly i would paint it as it shouldve been from the very beginning.  I shouldve returned it when it came in and bought a better quality product but its far too late now.  Any thoughts or ideas?  Ive got one idea that i will be trying in the near future but i dont want to reveal it till ive given it a shot.  Here are some pics of the product to pick your brain.

ways to improve

5) ignore it and answer that's the way it came when someone asks, what's the piece of shit on your tail
4) paint it black and hope no one sees it so you dont have to use no. 5
3) take it off, sell it
2) take it off, trash it
1) melt it down and use the metal to can some homemade beer

Wow, that looks like shit alright!

You've already spent your hard earned money on it, might as well fix it and be done with it.

I can believe those wide gaps and crude design. Hammer those gaps closed and paint it black and you should be good.

I have the evotech tidy tail, it has a nice shape to it. I'm happy with the quality and it was a better deal than the Ducati tail on my 696.
