Regulations states I must have them.

For the oil from the air filter box, I'm thinking about just plugging it (never seen a drop in there)(except for the one time I overfilled)

Gas overflow is more critical - must have that [leo]

What's your advice?

How about a SBK type radiator o/flow bottle in between the cylinders?

You'd have to make a bracket...or modify the factory one.

Maybe enough space, but hard to get anything in there...

The easiest solution is a bottle attached to the frame, but that might not pass inspection  :-\

Is there a rule book that specifies location/size...etc?

It might be easier to figure something out.

What are the other racers in your class using?

SBK  ;D

, but they also need them - I assume they install them under the fairings, but don't yet know where.

You think?

My cunning plan is to outbrake and/or outturn them - leaving them so puzzled that they don't catch me on the straights  :D

On our club track days I passed two 1199's in one long turn - priceless facial expression in the pits after  [evil]

I don't expect to place anywhere close to the winner (probably 5-6 seconds/lap off), but in my class we have a minimum time not to beat (110% of the three best Rookie 1000 riders). Many of the potential winners won't be able to slow down and they will be disqualified and then moved up a class - leaving the podium to the guys finishing just over the set time. On a good day that leaves me mid pack - on a 2V 800cc with street tires.
