Argh... was about to try and start up my bike (after sitting for 6 years).  I'm having trouble getting my old spark plug boot connected to my new spark plugs.

Bought some new spark plugs from MonsterParts.  I compared the old with the new, side by side last week and they looked identical.  Unfortunately I threw the old ones in the garbage and put the new ones on.

Now I cannot get the spark plug wires back onto the new spark plugs!  What am I missing here?

And me trying desperately to get this bike running:

Unscrew the tip from the plug.

It looks like your caps are the small diameter.

Ok, so unscrew the little "bulb" from the spark plug?  And then the boot will just snap on?

Thanks for the quick reply.

Thanks Nate!  That worked.
You need to pay attention on the NGK plugs. They also make a version that the little nut on the top is permanent and that won't work with your caps.
