Hey...

I let the battery on my bike die again over the winter.. (don't hate!)

I have a 2006 Monster S2R-  Where can I buy a battery online?  I got a battery last year in Chicago and it was CRAP.  I don't have a car so getting a bike battery is hard and I am not 100% sure what is the right kind.

Thanks!

Finally winter has ended, maybe!

Figured it was time to get the bikes out and the Duc would not turn over very well. Battery has been on a trickle charger all winter. Raised the tank to get the battery number, written on the top of it, my hand writing, installed 4/14/2003. Then looked at the number Yuasa NP18-12B, a sealed AGM industrial battery.
Checked all the maintenance records and found the receipt for the battery, dated 4/12/2003. Could this really be "10 years on a motorcycle battery".  Anyway short story, same battery going in.

I used what's called a G-Battery (basically a modified Odyssey battery) on my Intruder. Never took it off the bike for 5 years. Never had it on a charger. Stored on the street, covered, in the north east.
