Turned bike to on position and I hear a sound that made me think I just killed a mouse!  Sounded like a mouse taking its last breath.  I don't think there is a mouse in my bike though.  I'm thinking its the fuel filter.  I disconnected the tank hoses a while back and when I reconnected them I put the wrong hose in the wrong place.  But now that it is correct it still made that sound.  I don't think it does it everytime.

Air in the fuel lines often makes a funny sound when the pump is purging it.  Maybe that's the issue?

Anything I can do about it?  Didn't get a chance to check it yet but how does air get in there?  You mean air as in the line was loose/old and air got in it?

Come to think of it, my lines are old as two beast standing but I just figured I'd change them later cuz they still weren't that bad when I dug my nails in them.  My uncles bike had fuel line that was so old you could just dig your nail all the way through it.  My lines were not that bad when I dug my nail in them (a few months back) but they definitely were almost there.  I figured I'd save the hassel for later...maybe I waited too long?  The bike is a low mileage 06 with the original lines.
