Well, I finally got around to taking on this project. I have been collecting parts ofr a while and below are some pics...

Parts Used:
Speedy - Moto top triple
Woodcraft 2.5" rise clip-ons and black bars
All Balls tapered Roller Bearings

I pulled the front end apart and dropped off the Ohlins legs to my buddy Matt @ Sikmoto for fresh oil and seals. they have been previously rebuilt and resprung for my size and weight

I removed the stock upper triple, bearings and races

I got the new top triple and clip-ons ready

I got the legs back and started assembly

And here she is Looking Good if I do say so myself!

Looks great!  I usually see the speedymoto triple in black, silver makes it stand out even more.  The stock triple is an ugly piece if I do say so.

Just a thought: That triple really makes the cluster look "perched" way high up, I've seen a couple guys lower it making the whole thing look that much more sleek.

I agree about the "perched" look. I have a 3 day 900ish mile ride this weekend so I just had to get it back together and get a chance for a test ride tomorrow evening. I will explore lowering it in greater detail when I get back. If anyone can point me to a thread that discusses how to do this that would be great. I could not figure it out quickly while holding it in my hand so I did not try anything.

Another future project will be to figure out how I can reuse my Bitubo sterring damper as well :-)

Oh and I have to figure out some cool front blinkers! I just shortened the stock ones for now...

looks great. did the same on my m1100. When your done, youll probably find the headlight beam is pointing just 5-10 feet in front of you.  Throw a few washers on both sides of the bottom headlight bolts, and then adjust your headlight beam with screw driver. your set.
