Just been talking to KTM. Waiting to hear from Ducati. Triumph might sell their bikes at great prices here, but they sure make up for it on the spares.
The variation in pricing policies is interesting...

Thanks to all you cousins.

Check out my oil filter forensics thread!                     Offended? Click here
"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Used the KTM sprag, works fine.

Do beware of used starter gears from
different years of 900's, there is
a difference in depth.
Those fr M900 -97 do not fit
my 907 f e. 750SS up to -96 IIRC fits the 907 so
do check spare parts lists!

there are 3 styles or variation.

single phase alt:

6 spline crank, pre 92ish big motor, pre 98 small motor.  sprag 70140011A, same sprag as ktm.

16 spline crank, 92ish on big motor,   sprag 70140011A, same sprag as ktm, different gear and hub to above.

3 phase alt: 98 on small motor, 98/99 update on big motor.

sprag with lip, which sits in the flywheel and the hub is now a steel ring that bolts into the back of the flywheel, covering the lip.  have to remove ring to remove sprag.  it was 70140071A, is now 70140351A.  ask neil at ducati city if he has one and go and have a look.
