Tank repair
«

I have the leaky hinge issue on my 2001 steel tank. Minor issue, but needs repair sooner rather than later. I'm trying to figure out best/cheapest solution. I just don't have the space/place to do the POR-15 myself, and frankly do not have the skill to braze the hinge.
- I called Brooklyn Moto and they said that they don't have a guy anymore to do it.
- I had the bike at ECS and was quoted ~$500, which made me think, 'Well, heck, i can get a used tank for that.' So I took the bike back.
- I considered reaching out to DucPainter, but NH is kinda far and I expect shipping to cost $$$.
Recommendations and advice welcome.

They do gas tanks and I have heard his work is excellent.

Just called Joe and got a ~$75 estimate. Woo-hoo! Now I just need to get the tank to him. If this works out, I'm buying you a beer Pakhan. Or six.
