I really like my Spark high mounts. I got mine from Jeff at MonsterParts but he had trouble getting mine to he quit carrying them. I think Motowheels might carry them.

I wrapped my pipes, not so much for heat but to mostly match the jet coating on my exhaust

I fitted BOS cans to mine, they are marked as track only but are the same length as oe cans except narrower and louder.

So...I've decided to pull the trigger on a pair of the MIVV carbon GP cans (from PJ's Parts) for my 2001 900S ie, BUT... I have reached that great fork in the road: whether to go hi-mount or low mount?  I was thrown into this dilemma when I discoved that the GP can is available in the hi-mount, which I did not previously know existed.  The smaller GP can looks pretty clean/unobtrusive in the hi-mount position (vs a standard size can).  Of course, the low mount just seems...style-wise...cooler.  Is it quieter?

GAWD...the pressure of this decision!! My wife has left me (okay FINE - it was the cuckold porn collection), I've lost my job , and I've taken to drinking excessively.  Wait...I just realized I've never been happier....

Whatta ya think?  I have the requisite chopped tail, a CF rear hugger (what a great fit up...NOT), and the standard, boat anchor Ducati footpeg mount castings.

Enquiring minds need to know!!

Someone on here had Cherry Bombs welded up.  Cherry Bombs are cheap mufflers usually used on V8 trucks.

If youre not on the track, low mount. If you are, high.

If youre not slow on the track, low mount. If you are fast, high.

Fixed it for ya.  waytogo

I wrecked from dragging low mounts. Never have them again.
