in my opinion, if you get low mounts they must be like Skybarney's or Stormtrooper's. otherwise get some wee high mounts  waytogo

Anything is better than stock.

I went for high, when they had to warrenty my stockers. And gosh darn it wouldn't you know that Termi's were cheaper than stock so that's what they decided to give me. whoot!

+1 for low

...or "short and sweet" as I call it

That's a bad ass exhaust!  Who makes that?  I'm considering the comp werkes can for my evo but I'm loving the under engine look of that one.  Have any sound clips?

Okay motley crew...I have chosen...(the .... is to create that stupid suspense that do on those HGTV shows when the stupid real estate agent tells the stupid couple whether their offer was accepted or not as the camera goes back and forth):

THE LOW RIDER!!

"The low rider is a little higher
Low rider drives a little slower
Low rider is a real goer
Low rider knows every street yeah!
Low rider is the one to meet yeah!
Low rider don't use no gas now
Low rider don't drive to fast
Take a little trip
Take a little trip
Take a little trip and see
Take a little trip
Take a little trip
Take a little trip with me"

I'll post some pictures once they be mounted! Thanks for photos and advice.  Great, great stuff!

So, we be jamming.  Still have to shake her out, but idles just fine.  On a side note, I pulled my emissions canister as part of this effort using the threads/info in the Tech Section.

Please keep remarks about db killers, fork reflectors, and OEM peg mounts to a minimum of five per person.  Tried to mount up w/o brackets but would have required the header piece to be shortened where it enters can.  Maybe another day.  Thanks again for your input and bike photos  - great stuff.

Does my bum look big on this?

Very nice. I'm torn between these and low mount cf arrows for my own bike.

What do they sound like with the baffles in? The main thing that's made me stick with stock pipes all this time is that I don't wanna be obnoxious.

I have low mount twin carbon Zards with the DB killers installed.  It is nice deep and most importantly, not obnoxious.  Had a CHP right next to me with his window down, he could have pulled me over and choose to pull over a car instead.....  Not bad for California,

Thanks officer Police

High mounts on older Monsters, Low mounts on the new ones.  But then again I am biased.

I agree

Agree with the gentlemen with the Zards- deep, mellow, not obnoxious.  But I will definitely check out obnoxious, Fook the Police sound also.   Police

Looks pretty straightforward to drill out the rivet and have the inserts as a bolt in or remove feature unless I'm missing something.

Even easier for the Zards they use Allan heads to hold in the DB killers.  Personally have run loud pipes in the past there are few more things I dislike than coming around a corner and the LEO is already out of his car with his arm in the air.....  It has happened to me twice back when I was but a wee lad with a Yoshimura pipe.

Stealth canyon carving for me  Cool
