I thought this would be a useful how-to addition for tech  [thumbsup]

For those that need to repair anything in the rear end of a SSA bike (rear wheel, brakes, sprockets, cush drive, eccentric hub, etc), this is one of the best how-to write ups I've seen....lots of pictures and very informative.

Gah I need to do this check. Where do you look specifically to see if your cush drives are failing?

Hi guys... I'm the author of that particular piece.

It's actually here on the DMF, too: http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=34425.0 (note I went super witty with the title here).

Anyway, that's pretty cool that someone stumbled over the other writeup of it and thought it useful :).

Thanks, I just spent about 30 minutes reading through your post.  Very informative.   [thumbsup]

Can't believe how much wear that caused.

Glad it was informative. I've got other bits and pieces around the place but that's probably my most detailed thing I've done.

The wear is amazing... I'm far from the first person it's happened to, though. It also shows just how hard steel is compared to aluminium :).

I'll try my best not to ;). That domain has survived the end of one relationship, and I got the domain in the settlement... I may be shifting hosts with it to another place but that domain and setup will remain. URLs - published once, used forever :).
