Expanding tank

2007 s4r the tank seems to growing forward towards the key immobilizer.    has anyone drilled out the 3 hole bracket so the tank can be slid back

temporary solution (if it's possible?)

the problem is with the ethanol in the fuel. find a Ducati dealer who is willing to take the time to warranty your tank. then treat it before you put fuel in it again.
