Dorna will change the rules before they get the bike developed. Grin

Only .7 down during testiing. That's excellent.
They should give Ben a job once he heals up. Ducati's loss is Suzukis gain.

Makes Ducati look bad.
Proves that Suzuki should never have strayed from making what they know and are so good at, inline 4s. Sure you can play with the crank timing, but factory history and wisdom stands. Remember when the Gixxer SBK lapped faster than the GP bike?
Maybe there's a lesson there for Ducati, bring back the trellis! Grin

Maybe I'll be able to go back to not being ashamed about all of the Suzukis I own... Excellent.

Not too bad, Nicky was 2nd fastest that test day, .051s behind Jorge, on the standard bike.

for how many laps?

Not many, but just eyeballing the timesheets it does appear that he was the second most-consistent rider out there (Jorge, no surprise, looks like he was consistently closest to full-on). He also turned a lot of laps -- by my quick perusal, it looks like he & De Puniet were the hardest working, with 73 laps each, and Pirro with 70.

Nicky always works hard.

He was pretty pissed about his crash on Sunday.

Dunno where I saw it, but the word was that Suzuki needed another year to get the power and reliability necessary, while still using only 20 liters of fuel and 5 engines.

That's OK...Ducati needs 30 years to get there.

dorna basically screwing two teams would have kept me out as well.

that's screwed up.. we wanted more so we created another series within a series, but now that another manufacturer wants back in, we have to screw two teams over.

You know that it's the manufacturers; Honda, Yamaha, etc. that set the engine limits and fuel limits, right?
