Thanks Smiley
i just got her up over 600miles last night, have seen anything like that yet....i did see a little image of a wrench on the display. didn't have a chance to look through the manual since i got in really late, any idea what it might be?

Cant be sure, I did not get a chance to talk to the tech when I took mine in, the service guy mentioned it.  He did not have details only that my symptoms, like yours, had surfaced on some 696s.  Since it's not a service bulletin, you have to ask about it and hope that your techs paid attention in the briefing.

All I know is mine showed it had a light relay problem, soon after, it blew the fuse for the lights.  The techs fixed both in about an hour and I happily rode home, with lights.

From what I've been told it means time to take the bike in for its 1st service.  It's hard-wired, so even if you do the service ahead of time it will automatically come on at 621 miles.  Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Mypetmonster,

That little wrench is telling you to take your baby in for the 600 mile service.  When you took your pet in for the O2 sensor, did you also do the 600 mile service?  That service will cost ~$200 and takes 1 1/2 hours.  If you already did that, I guess you have to take the bike in again for the techs to turn it off.

Ride safe this weekend.

The dealer did the first service while they were fixing the O2 sensor
....I'll stop by this week for them to turn in off. Gracias! Smiley

Curious.  What did you dealer charge you for your 600 mile service? [moto]
