Hi All,

Anyone changed fuel injectors, or at least removed and refitted a set?

I'm wondering if you are able to change fuel injectors without removing the airbox and battery box?

I've got a new set from CCW and just wanted to check the forum for the good oil that might cut down the job a bit.

I've checked my workshop manual and LT Snyder's manual also, but it doesn't have a procedure for their removal in either.

Had a good look. Close but no cigar!  :-[

I needed to get the airbox off which certainly helped.

Injectors themselves came out easy and new items replaced quickly.

Now to get back out into the shed for the reinstallation of the airbox, ecu, etc. I hope the throttle body snorkels won't be a right royal pain in the rump!

We'll see! LOL!

All fitted together quite well. Had a mate come over, so had another pair of hands and eyes on the job which is always handy. Pun Intended!

Fired up first go after sitting idle for about a month, which was pleasing and settled into a good idle.

Test ride tomorrow if time permits!

Cheers,

Bbviously a bit late to you party - but no. As you now know, you're not getting the injectors out with out having pretty clear access from the top. Once the box is out of the way, it's a pretty simple job. But yes, that airbox is a pain in ones rear
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.
