Engine swap 620 to 900

Hi guys.. Have anybody done engine swap.. engine from 900ie to 620ie??? is it possible?? what is needed???

might be a good start...but also using the search fuction with the criteria of "engine swap" might help you a bit also.

I believe you need to confirm your ecu is compatible with the 900ie ecu (not sure what the year matches up as I think it's only one or two years). Then you need to swap the exhaust headers as they are longer (I think.) Double check what TPS the 900 uses vs your 620. I'm unsure about engine bolt size on the 900ie engines but if it's the same you are golden. Also, check wiring harness compatibility as I think that may need a swap.

That's all I can think of, but there may be more. I know for a 620, I'd rather go 800 (what I did), or 1000. Besides, 900ie engines take forever to show up online I've found, and are overpriced. If you want the power, go for the thousand, and I know that swap has been done before and can be searched for.
M620 turned M800 but then back to M620 after the M800 died at 110k, and now to Multi 1000.

+1 on skipping the 900 and going straight to a G. If you're gonna go to that much trouble...might as well get a REAL power difference.
