How much would I need to spend to make it look just like the prototype? They teased me into the cutting edge look, then they pulled the rug from under me.

They have to "pull the rug" to meet all the regulatory BS to be able to mass produce and sell it.

arrrrrg i want it. now! anyone want my evo?

i think the wheels, an undercarriage exhaust, and some bar end mirrors would be sufficient to get the look. maybe a different seat or pillion tail cover?

Looks pretty damn close to me. Powdercoat/paint the wheels, tail tidy and bar end mirrors, a carbon fender, and a new exhaust (which is a given on any bike)...and you essentially have the prototype.  waytogo We all knew it wouldn't get the fancy-ass forks, and that it needed gauges. The prototype seat wasn't ever realistic either (thankfully if you plan to ride it).

I think the photo quality a part of it...the prototype photos are fantastic, the production not so much.

Agree, i think people got caught up in fantasy world thinking it would be almost the same. Besides with a few mods you are going to be able to get really darn close to the prototype.

You guys might be right. The exhaust and bar end mirrors would be pretty much it.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.
