750 to 900 swap

How difficult , whats involved , needed for going from a 750 to a 900 ? 2001 . Header pipes , whats the 2 wire 3 wire thing ? Or complete harness  ?  I read what I could find  ,, thankx

What year is the complete 750 and what year is the donor 900?

2 wire vs. 3 wire refers to the alternator wires that run to the rectifier. Some had 2 phase and some had 3 phase. So say your 750 has a 2 phase, and the motor you're looking at has a 3 phase, you would have to get a new rectifier for the 900 motor.
