Howdy,
I have been having sticking clutch issues for a while, so I decided to go ahead and replace what I could:
1) Barnett clutch plates
2) New braided clutch line
2) Oberon slave cylinder
These clutch plates have seen only Motul 5100 10/50 oil.  Ever since installation, clutch plates wont disengage enough to put into gear...even after a warmup.
The following video shows how my clutch system is working:

Clutch is too sticky to ride safely, so it will sit or be sold unless I can resolve this.
Questions:
1) Does the movement of the clutch in the video seem sufficient to disengage the clutch plates?
2) If it is the oil that is causing plates to stick together, what can I do to fix it?
Thank you in advance!

That seems like plenty of movement to disengage the clutch plates. I have no experience with Barnett plates, but have been told by others that they may not be good replacements for small-case wet clutch packs. Others may chime in.

BTDT myself.  :(

I've got a nearly new set of Barnett S2R800 plates in a bag on the shelf, for that very reason.

I fitted a set of OEM plates and the problem went away.

That appears to be plenty of movement.

Speeddog,
I'm sure my choice of oil isnt the problem, but just in case, what are you using?
Changing the plates out for OEM may have to be my next move.
Thanks!

I'm not sure what I'm seeing here... a wet 800 right?

Again, not sure, but it looks like the last plate isn't seated in the correct place...
The last plate goes in it's very own slot, at the outer edge of the basket.
Maybe it matters, maybe not.

The 29mm Oberon makes the wet clutch very sensitive to master cylinder piston plunger adjustment.
Can and should be adjusted correctly to find the sweet spot where you have proper disengagement while still maintaining full engagement.

Stopintime - You rock!
Yes, 800 wet clutch. My incompetence got the best of me.
1 - The last clutch plate was not offset
2 - The drum and hub were not aligned properly

Thank you everyone!!
