That's fantastic news - it'll probably make a few Italian fans very pleased - doesn't matter if the 'other bikes' are in front as long as 'we' beat MV....

my 2 questions are this 1) would they be an Evo spec entry and 2) who is going to ride their bike(s) ?

It's their first year with a Russian team. Don't expect much. Probably will try to get someone that ended up without a seat for next season or someone from Superstock. BSB might be another good place to look.
