I currently have an 01 Monster 750. I'm looking to get a little more power. I found an 800 with a broken case, and I was wondering if I can put the inners (crank, 6 speed transmission) in my 750 cases? I know the cases are repairable but I would like to keep the bike matching numbers. I'm weird like that. And can I use my 750 clutch, flywheel with the 800 parts. Any help would be appreciated.

The neutral light switch won't work, different configuration 750-800.

800 cylinders may have different dowel position on the base.

Your 750 engine numbers don't match the frame, so just a bit of paperwork to change over to the 800 engine numbers.

You' ll need to reshim (or at least check) crank and both trans shafts if you swap internals into different cases.
