Factory Carbon headlight fairing mounting

Hi all
I've been buying some bits and bobs for my newly acquired M900, and I bought a NOS factory Carbon headlight fairing. Having a little trouble figuring out how it's supposed to mount.
I got 2 bits of aluminum tube about 75mm long , flattened at one end and bent at about 45deg with an 8mm hole in the flattened bit, 2 x "L" brackets with 8mm hole in one leg n about 10mm wide notch out of the other leg, 2 m8 x 50mm hex socket button head screws, and 4 8mm ID x 10mm aluminum spacers. Nothing seems to line up. I can see there are M6 holes in the front of the top triple tree, and the L bracket seem to fit under the head of the headlight mount bolts nicely, but then the holes are at the wrong angle to mate with the fairing. Has anyone got a diagram, exploded parts view or even photos of one of these things fitted that will give me a clue?
Help!
Thanks
Graeme
