There's allot of sick make the beast with two backsing people in this world and heres one of them.  Hope they find him and make sure he gets what he has coming to him.  I just can't believe there was no one around to help.


Tucson, AZ) -- A 17-year-old girl is in the hospital in critical condition after a man attacked two teenage girls with a machete Wednesday night. According to a police spokesman, three girls boarded a bus in the downtown area and got off at Grant and North Norris Avenue at around 10 p.m. A man with a black and white bandanna on his face approached the girls sitting on a bench from behind. He began to strike the girls with a machete, focusing on the 17-year-old. The girl suffered machete strikes to the face and head, as well as to the hands as she tried to protect herself. One of the other girls was struck as she tried to intervene, but was not injured seriously. The man then left in a white four-door Dodge Intrepid. None of the girls claimed to know the man, and police have no leads as to his whereabouts. Police are asking anyone with information to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

i never realized how great a weapon a machete could be used for until i did some cutting back of some overgrown bushes in the yard with one a couple years back..just using it to cut back some branches on a bush you easily can cut through 1 or 1.5 inch branches without even thinking and its a one swing operation

i understand now why its a preferred weapon of choice in 3rd world countries by rebel militias and such.. its really an extension of your arm with a lanyard attached around your wrist, you get great cutting power from just swinging it with the weight of your arm not to mention if you put your body into it.   realy intimidating and easy to use.

now i see why the romans used such a short sword in battle, easy to move and still has a lot of power to cut and do major damage.

its a shame that such a useful tool for gardening and such can be used for such ill purposes against people.

The Gladius was used a little differently. It was primarily a stabbing sword. And it was short so that Roman forces could bunch together. Imagine your a huge Goth bastard swinging a 6 foot long sword. None of your friends can get near you to back you up... but the Roman legionnaires could fight shoulder to shoulder, 3 to 1 against you, from BEHIND pretty big arse shields.

So on the news last night they say they have caught the sick make the beast with two backs.  He tried to rob a gas station but failed.  Then he tried to rob or carjack this girl at a gas station and failed.  Someone did recognize the car and one of the girls from the first attack got part of the plate number and so did the person at the gas station.  Needless to say the bastard is in jail right now with a huge bond.    Now he will plead not guilty due to insanity.   Stupid idiot.
