Gents, I have a late 07 S2R 1K, has behaved well from new. But I fancy some different pipes to give it a bit of a growl, (my previous bike was a Jota 180), but to be honest I cannot be ar$ed with rechipping or messing about too much.

Are there any pipes available that I can simply swap out with no other major mods that will make my Monster growl?

Thanks   chug

Some slip on pipes should be ok, if they are conventional mufflers. Anything too radical could put the AFR out too much. Depends on where you are and how lean the bike is for your state's regulations in standard trim.
Others with more experience will chip in. Someone who has the same market bike will know.

What brand of pipes were you looking at?

Thanks, I am in the UK. I like the look of the Arrow Cans.

Have you replaced the cat yet?
That'll free up more noise than a set of cans will, and it's still road legal.

Cat is still stock, what are the realistic swap out options with the Cat?

I have a 07 S2R1000 as well, just ordered a Marving CAT eliminator pipe. They are made in Italy and should have distributors in the UK.
