2007 S4RS HID problem - Intermittent on/off

Hi All - thanks in advance for anyhelp.

I recently installed a 35w H4 HID bulb in my S4RS. Plugged everything up (not my first HID install but first on this bike) and was working fine. However, I've noticed if i shut off the bike and immediately restart the light will usually not turn on again. It will continue to stay off until I have left the bike off for an extended amount of time (im guessing at least 30-45 minutes minimum). After the cool down, the lights will fire up with the bike, but if I have to shut off the bike for a quick second or 2 the lights will usually not fire back up.

Do you think switching to a 55w ballast will solve my problem?
Any help or ideas on fixing this?

Not much experience with aftermarket HID in either cars or bikes, only thing I can tell you is, a HM1100 came into the shop with something similar, had to replace ECU and go back to "regular H4". ..  customer did purchase a PIAA Super Something and a new headlamp assy . . .

Try to get a RH switch with Lights ON/Off . . . ECU are not cheap new

just replaced the xentec ballast with a DDM style ballast (has the secondary box after the main ballast) and its been working fine... problem solved~
