I got a 93 Superlight in January. I replaced the belts, filters, tires, plugs and a new shorai battery. when I turn the key I hear no pump. I know there is a relay but the relay I see on the right side of the bike looks as if it is a starter relay. Is there a fuel relay? I know how to get to the pump if need be. I have power at the connection to the tank and at the tank but not sure inside the tank. What else could it be? Thanks in advance for all help.

If you have power at the tank connection it can't be the relay.

Possibly a broken wire to the pump in the tank. The wires are held on to the pump with small nuts iirc.  You could change your fuel filter to make it worth while removing the tank ring to check the pump wires.  The job is not hard but a pita.

I had a 92 Superlight years ago. Great bikes. [thumbsup]
