Touchy 620 throttle

Lightest throttle ever IME. The rider wants a heavier spring. Too touchy for when he uses the thumb clutch (long story). He knocks the throttle reaching back for the thumb clutch. Can one get a heavier return spring? Would be a first IME as its wonderfully light, but not so helpful in this application. I doubt a throttle tamer will fit the Domino throttle housing, but maybe. I put the "slowest" throttle tube in there with the nipple hole closest to the bar centre. Do throttle tamer make a different cam for the throttle bodies?

Not sure if it's Throttle Tamer, but there is a slower one available from somebody.

Perhaps you can McGyver a fairly long coil tension spring to the TB cam.

I might have a go at that. The throttle cam is easy to get to and I don't want to accidently derestrict it as its a LAMS bike and I want to keep it that way. A stronger spring sounds the go.
Cheers mate.

I have the Throttle Tamer in my bike and I also installed the throttle cam from electraeon, my throttle operation was smoother without it and with it is both smoother and faster acceleration, but never light . . .

but, the heavier spring seems to be a fast/cheap solution . . . try it and let us know

Thanks Carlos. I'll try Electraeon. That's who I was thinking of for the throttle cam. I will put a spring on too to stop the throttle moving on bumps.
