Like many of you, I'm tired of all the spy shots and speculation for what is a "meh" bike.
However
, this one below I'm posting bc I'm curious what the open clutch cover thing on the left side is? Just some design for the crankcase cover or is there a chance ducati will still have a dry cutch in its lineup?

It's the alternator side.
And it's just a styling element.
So the hipsters can feel the emotion of the engine turning.

Hipsters ruin everything. First they gentrify all the hidden gem city neighborhoods and cause the rent to skyrocket, now they're making $800 bikes expensive. Smh

Ducati's own tumblr site dedicated to the scrambler. Pretty much says it all about the market they are targeting. Interesting to see how this turns out.

Anyone read anything about price point?

The pictures look like the 696/796, It does not look to have an oil cooler in the pics so prob. the 696. Though It also looks like it has the cable clutch so it could be a new motor.

Nahh, the valves are easy to do yourself, its the flux capacitor that's a b1tch.
