I had the spring removed from the monoshock for PC'ing at my Duc shop and measured it prior to removal. I just had it put back on at a Honda Cycle shop (was much closer)  but it wasnt tightened back to the same level. Can I just take a monkey wrench and tighten it back down to the same level or do you need the spring compressor to do that? Just want to make sure I'm doing this right.

if you get some shock tools to adjust the rings that'll be much nicer than a monkey wrench.  but yes, you just adjust the rings down and tighten them against each other once you get to the length you want.
