So I'm dropping my headlight and my gauges. What does this do tho..

xcaptainxbloodx

barometric pressure sensor.

it helps determine fueling. you need it.

cody_clark

Okay. When dropping the gauges where do you mount it?

Speeddog

When remounting it, try to keep it in a similar (somewhat sheltered) location.

Any suggestions?

Disclaimer: here comes poor advice.

I zip tied it to the other wires it is near upfront. Hasn't caused me any issues, likely not the brightest mounting place either.

cody_clark

Haha well how long has it not caused you problems

thorn14

1 year and 15k miles with a few days of sitting/riding in the rain. It is completely exposed from above as I have a speedymoto top triple.

Cool well that sounds easier than what I've been thinking lol. Would under the tank work?

Willthedub

No you need to mount it in a air 'neutral' position where heat/fumes can not interfere with the sensor.

I'm having to same problem so where to hide it because I want a tidy front!

I was thinking of extending the wires and tucking it near the seat area.

cody_clark

Yeah cause I'm spending the time to organize all of my wires and I can't think of a place to put it. You have a good idea tho. I might try that. I have plenty of spare wire hanging around

cody_clark

Okay so I finished if anybody wants to see pics?

Excuse the turn signals I haven't put them in a place yet. I wanna get smaller ones, can anybody suggest good ones on the cheap?
