Great vid, thanks for the time to put it together.  I will be installing mine next weekend, currently being shipped.

The owners manual is informative, but something about actually seeing it done make it seem easier.  Guess I am a visual learner  waytogo

Nice video, but the manual makes this much more difficult than it has to be. I just added a battery tender extension this weekend. You can save a lot of hassle by just disconnecting the two hoses up by the filler hole. They pull right off. No need to mess with the carbon breather cover down low. Also I found no need to disconnect the electrical connectors. If you just remove the plastic covers and bolts holding the tank on you can shift the tank over enough to the right to access the battery.

I installed a new battery last weekend and I just wheeled a rolling tool chest next to my bike to rest the tank on.  For the 15,000 mile valve adjustment I removed the tank completely from the bike.  It is easier to check/adjust the valves with it off the bike.
