Simply..are most monster petro tanks similar and can you switch them. Wondering if I could put a S2R1000 S2R 2006 on my 04 monster 620. The 06 is plastic and I was wondering if it had the same fuel filter. Know nothing about this and was wondering. Thanks speeddog.

i have put a plastic tank on an early 620.  you need the tank complete (fuel pump assembly is different) and rear mount.  otherwise fine.

You'll need the plastic tank style QD fuel fittings too, and removing/bypassing your external fuel pressure regulator, as the plastic tanks have them inside.

So is this a big pain in the --- to do this, or how bout...if I get this tank is the QD fuell fittings and bypassing external fuel pressure regulator hard to do?  I wonder if it's worth it since its just the tank with no other parts that go with it..
