Great Dez I'll volunteer to sweep the next ride you organize

slightly edited

But this time of year is  best .
Family commitments , hot steamy and wet increased interest
 to DD's.
What I have done on many occasions is  taking charge of the ride and leading the group
"at  pace" also  sweep .

ends up a debacle with missing riders

I thought it was just because you didn't have many friends.

I too miss the group rides. Heaps of good fun, even if we did occasionally get lost.

Thanks Suz .........gee we miss you  Roll Eyes
Seems PAUL vomit  can now be included in my "no friends " team.

Where getting the old crew back!

WOOHOO! We're number 1, we're number 1!

Not there yet, still don't know what bike I'm getting.

The other thing that I have been contemplating is whether people may drift back. It is interesting how few 'tweeny' or 'next-gen' Monster owners have joined the OzMo board ... and become involved in the community. Perhaps there is something with the earlier bikes.

I am not surprised that a couple of former older style Monster owners are thinking about re-joining the fold. The things that drew us to the bikes in the first place are still there ... it is what grew this community.

Welcome back Super & Rob ... I hope you both find what you are looking for.

Thanks Betty, as I wrote before, not back quite yet.

It's bin a few years in exile, I have had money issues but thankfully they are behind me. It's bin a hard fecken slog, and I just couldn't be on here while everyone is having fun. Feckers.

Sooo, who else I know is still around?

I like a drink. You know when people say 'I like a drink as much as the next man'? Not if I'm the next man, you don't.

Nothing like the sound of a Ducati!

Due to some of the above issues the last few group rides I have been on have been of the secret handshake variety with six or less riders.

So we have a group of Masons here on the board??? Shocked

On a serious note group rides are a process both organising the ride and co-ordinating the ride and take up a heap of time and dedication.  I happy to organise one down South of Sydney if your up for it. Or even one those re run rides like to Bathurst via Sodwalls! waytogo waytogo waytogo(personal favourite!!!)

Oh hi Betty make sure you say hi to the Mrs.
