i was not sure which area to put this post ,, so i did it here

any way just refitted the standard ducati healamp fairing back on my S4 and noticed that now above 90mph the front end goes light and wants to wobble ,,,its controlable with more handlebar input and me leaning more weight over the front end but without the fairing it is stable and no wobble ,, seems the fairing makes a big difference to the handling above 90mph by acting like a lifting  wing ,makes it feel a bit unsafe and not nice for sustained 120+mph blasts ,,

it is the reason i took it off 4 years ago but with new improved 996 front end i thought it worth fitting and also to reduce air blast when touring ....

any one else seen this phenomonon ????/

Plus point it makes me ride slower ...LOL

I found it created too much wind noise but never got to experiment past that. It was gone day one.
M620 turned M800 but then back to M620 after the M800 died at 110k, and now to Multi 1000.

problem sorted ,, i made up 2 small fairing metal stays out of galvanised bracket   both about 4'' long by 1/2'' wide   they go from top of fairing to brake lever supports and now the bike is stable right up to 140mph if you tuck un behind fairing  also air is now deflected over my head at nrma; 90mph cruising speed ,,works really well

may try to make up some better hidden ones later  but now the fairing rocks baby!!!

In response to stopintimes pic. There were those and another type around for a while. Both slowly disappeared and are unobtainium now.

The other, more common ones, are the PoorDucRider (easier to DIY)

Me thinks there might be a market here if someone on the board can produce these at a reasonable cost.

Don't know if it's current and correct, but in 2012 the PoorDucRider manufacturer Crawford (?) posted his new contact info on ducati.net  bjc9135 (at) gmail.com

The small on the right side? It's a Motogadget thermometer. I don't think they make them anymore.
The larger in the middle, previous picture, is a ForMotion.
