The only way I know of is a rexxer ecu map. I dont know if any freeware that does the same thing.

That said $250 is a pretty fair price. I'd be surprised if you could develop your own software solution for less than that.

If you are doing a custom build... can I suggest a custom ECU?

They were good to us at Bonneville in 2013... but I would advise 'advanced' knowledge of fuel injection, the education of which is available from manuals and forums.

Depending on your level of soldering skills and your desire for waterproofness, kits can be had for not much more than a reflash...
