to hot; just put the stripps between the luvers should be good in 10 minutes; on a fully warmed up bike 200 F .... infact wrapped in tinfoil I'm sure it whould work! without a mess  ;D (fins; what the hell do ya call em)

Don't know if it would have the temp range to get  [bacon] to its necessary crispiness though.  Now if you like luke warm soggy bacon.........
