Hi there people... So I had from time to time problems to start my bike but nothing really serious... Last weekend i drove my bike to the mountains with a friend of mine (he is driving a Ktm superduke 990) and on the way back we stopped to chat and smoke. When i step on the bike to start it the battery was really weak and i couldn't... To tell the truth first thinkg i took apart was the starter solenoid back that was fine after that i measure the battery while the bike was running and it was around 11 volts. I took the alternator side of the engine out and i noticed that the fault wasn't the alternator it self but two of the three cables that coming out of it... I went to a pro he put the cables to there place for free i went back home and put everything back and magic it works like sweet and it gives 14,5 volts now!!! I also lightened the flywheel, it was 148mm and know is 130 so aprox. half a kilo lighter and i can say i am amazed it drives so much better know, an other thing i did is to move the rectifier from under the seat over and a little bit front of the rear tyre..

Getting airflow to the Regulator/Rectifier is good.

Enjoy the light flywheel.
