Hey guys, work is going to bring me into the DC area for a week, on the 13th, and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a few nice places to have a bite to eat.  I am open to all sorts of food, but really like spicy dishes.  So with that in mind, can anyone recommend a good Indian curry house?

I don't know about your Indian pursuits, but if you're looking to meet up with a bunch of fellow Ducatisti, we're at every Wednesday night, starting at around 1830 or so.  If it's fair weather, we're outside near the bikes, and if it's not, we're usually downstairs.  There is a small lot there and plenty of street parking in the area, and it's also easily Metro accessible from the Courthouse or Rosslyn stops on the orange line.

There's a very good Indian restaurant, the Delhi Club, at the corner of Calrendon Blvd and Highland St in Arlington, right across from the Clarendon metro stop.

I hear that Rasika is the best Indian place downtown. But if you like ethnic foods you have to try some Ethiopian while you are in town. Dukem at 12th and U st NW is my favorite.

both Indian places are very good and the ethiopian one is as well I believe though the best Indian food is right in takoma park not to far from DC its called Udupi palace which is all vegetarian and there is one right down the street Tiffin from under the same managment as Udupi but it is not vegetarian. There are a bunch of Indian places in adams morgan by the chipotle, if I remember correctly..

Thanks again for all the tips guys.  We (a workmate and I) will be staying in Crystal City, and stuck at the Navy Yard during the day, but should have some free time during the evenings.  I will see what I can do to make it out to the Rhodeside while I am there.
