S2R-1000 throttle response

The throttle response on my S2R feels really on/off, especially at lower speeds.

If I'm mid-turn on a 15-MPH turn and need to add a slight bit of juice, the bike jerks forward. Literally like the throttle was turned on versus gradually engaged. I'd say this happens over about a 1mm twist of the throttle. I've worked on "maintenance throttle" so the chain doesn't co slack, but I don't that's it.

Is this something that can be tuned out? I have a Fatduc, 14t sprocket and exhaust (post-udder). Yet to do any airbox or ECU mods.

First I would check the free play at the throttle.  Should be about 2mm. and not change when moving the bars.  Also confirm it is lubed and in good position.  Next would be TPS setting.

reflash the ecu to be open loop.

If that is done, does it operate 'un-loop'ed' through the whole range? Without removing hard parts?

15mph....mid turn....??

I think you just need to adjust your riding style ever so slightly, feather your clutch if needed( not pull it in completely), drag your rear brake a little if that helps, but remember this is a twin cylinder that may lug at lower revs so I wouldn't expect too much of it in these particular circumstances.
