There are some nice roads down that way,
you are about 90 minutes if I take the back roads.
I am frequently riding in the Jackson, New Egypt area.

Nice roads, really? You'll have to show me lol.

Been here for a year now, I really like it, but the first thing I did after seeing the long, flat, straight roads was sell my Buell (that I bought when I thought we'd be moving from the Philly burbs to the Poconos).

A typical ride for me involves 20-30 miles to GET to 4-5 miles of twisties, then another 10-20 miles to get to ANOTHER 1-2 miles of turns... then turn around and go home lol.

I just got back from a ride on the Tail of the Possum - 11 Miles, 1 Curve! (ok, I exaggerate, there are probably 5-6 curves in those 11 or so miles, all sweepers you can take at 70 ON MY HARLEY..., and TWO of them are back to back in a little high speed chicane, and is basically the most fun one can have around here on a bike, but it only lasts about 3 seconds.  [laugh] [bang]

But I'm not pregnant doging <---WTF Autocorrect was that... I'm NOT pregnant dogING... at least there's no traffic as long as I go south or east towards Wharton and/or the shore.

Now if I go north or, especially WEST, watch out.

Anyway, RIDE SAFE,

Kev

How close are you to these guys  http://www.motorcyclemall.com  Myself, no FHE and Ducati is a new line for them.  They do have two good techs brought over from Italy.

I rode a lot in Millstone and there are some good roads there,
Right by Six Flags there are some good roads.
I have not been all the way to Melford so I thought the roads might be the same.
Nothing like the Poconos, you might be spoiled

They have a VERY bad reputation in the Guzzi community (and Guzzi wasn't a new brand for them then).

But it doesn't matter for ME, they're the same distance (or more with worse traffic) than Coopersburg and FWIW Coopersburg has a pretty good reputation.

Don't mind me, I'm just ranting.

I've made it up, as far as Columbia NJ (just a few weeks back for a small Guzzi gathering) and the roads are far better up that way.

And honestly, the roads through the pine barrens are beautiful. I'm just a few miles from 3 state/national forests, the biggest being Wharton (something like over 100,000 acres and 500 miles of roads/trails). It's really nice.

It's just FLAT and Straight.

I never realized how many hills and curves we had even in Chester County PA (I lived in rolling horse country for about 20 years before this).

I just have to get my cornering practice in on empty circles and on-ramps.  [laugh] :D [laugh]

Stay away from Motorcycle mall.
You can buy from them but don't let them do any service.

I used to go hunting in Wharton many moons ago.
Its beautiful but flat.
I ride out to Bucks county thru Lambertsville for some twisty roads.

Yeah,  I'm so close I'd say the pines that shroud my house  were probably once part of the same forest.

You hear about that fire there a few weeks ago, 750 acres burned.

That was so close I had to shut all the windows because of the smoke.

Anyway, if you plan on being down this was, pm me for contact info.

Ride safe!!!

If I do, I'll let you know, Thank
