Hi guys,

Can a tail chopped frame be reversed? If so, what's the best way to go about it if you had a donor frame (ie a frame that's on the write-off register).

Secondly, other than the radiator mounts will a 2003 S4 motor fit into a 2002 900ie frame?

Cheers  [thumbsup]

I reversed the tail chop on my 695.  I bought a frame of a eBay for very cheap.  I had the seller cut of the tail portion and I trimmed it down to match up.  I used some aluminum dowels and jb weld to connect the tail to the frame.  overall very easy to do.

The frame cross-member by the throttlebodies is different.  2v is not in the right place for a 4v engine.

Your options are:
cut and weld
buy 4v frame
engineer a different throttlebody solution
