Odometer trip knob broken

You should be able to find a speedo (with the knob) on EBay.

I have.  But I was looking for the quick fix.  I also wasn't sure that the issue with laws regarding odometer replacement.

Speeddog: do you know if I can just swap a speedo into my (stock) cluster?  Or do I need to buy the whole cluster?  This is what I was looking at:

I don't know the legal ramifications of speedo swaps in your location.

AFAIK, as long as you divulge the actual mileage upon sale of the bike, you're good.
I suspect there's folks in your area that know the details.

You should be able to swap that speedo into your cluster.
Ask the seller for pics of the back side of that unit, I've run into differences.
Compare the pics to the back of your unit.

Don't throw that knob away, someone may want it.
