Valve seals piston rings and valve gaps

Ducati lovers. Help me. Valve seals and piston rings from M900 (2000 year - I.E.) suited to my M900 (1997 year - carburetor)?
My second question about valve gaps: look at the picture. It is true information (gaps) for my M900 (1997 year - carburetor)?
And another question: when I changed old split rings of closing shim to new split rings - gaps will changed? I think that only for the better side?
