Everyone hello. I am a newbie to this site and need some help.  After owning a 2005 S2r since new, I finally got her tune up after not riding for a long time, and while parked my wife backed into it and the kick stand bent the oil pan I guess its called or the bottom of the crank case.  Been told Bike is totaled, maybe but I want to go down with a fight.  I never worked on engines, but am good with my hands and have plenty of tools and the evenings.  Am an older guy 58, and this was the year I wanted to take it to the track while I was still young...

Guys am really hurting on this one.  Love this bike, rode it one day after so long and the damage from all my research suggest it could not happen in the worst place.  Alright. Enough sulking.  How do I start, I suspect the engine needs to come off.  Are there any vids in this forum on how to start?  Thanks in advance for any assistance.  Fig
