I bought a new Shindengen FH020AA regulator/rectifier for the 07' S4RT and am not quiet sure how I want to mount it. Curious if anyone has pics of theirs mounted in the most stock way possible. I do not want to get rid of my breather box at this time so that option is out.

Sideways? Backwards? lets see them.

Anyone?  I found tonight I can't simply mount it and be done. The seat gets in the way. Only solution I see right now is get rid of the breather box or maybe hack the seat?

I mounted my Shindengen to the same spot where the old one was (using just one bolt). The connectors interfered with the tool box under the seat. A few minutes with a dremel, and it fit just fine. The MOSFET units can be left under the seat, since they don't heat up, even after extended rides. I butt-spliced some 14 AWG teflon insulated wire from the alternator to the Furukawa connector, and wrapped the bundle in some polyester expandable tubing. This got rid of the white plastic spade connectors that are often a failure point.
Looks like this is what I may end up doing. Good thing I don't use that storage spot.

Would that help out for a 2-bolt solution?  I almost grabbed one a while back to try.

I ordered my regulator from there but didn't buy that bracket. Right now my solution was two counter sunk M6 bolts from the hardware store. I cut a little into the plastic and the bolt on the right sits almost flush. The bolt on the left holds the whole unit from moving unless you really grab it. This is just mock up. May end up moving the unit to the right and just using the one bolt on the right for it all.
