Cockpit Light on my 2007 Monster 1000 S2R does not shut off, can any help?

I have a 2007 Monster 1,000 S2R and the cockpit orange/red light will not turn off.  It does not appear to be draining the battery down very fast, but it stay on.  Does anyone know what may be causing this and what I can do to fix it?
